Resumen: 

Si los trabajos sobre los ferrocarriles industriales asturianos todavía son escasos, aquellos que se refieren a las líneas del concejo de Lena son prácticamente inexistentes. En este texto repasaremos la historia de dos de ellos, los de Hulleras del Naredo y Antracitas de Carraluz. Son varias las características que los unen: su longitud, el uso de tracción vapor, el hecho de pertenecer a empresas independientes y de discurrir íntegramente por el concejo, así como sus efímeros periodos de actividad. Por último, la escasez de fuentes escritas, que hacen que una parte de este texto se base en testimonios orales, cruciales para reconstruir unos ferrocarriles tan olvidados con interesantes.

Abstract:

If research work on Asturian industrial railways are still few, those dealing with lines running in the council of Lena are virtually non-existent. On this text we will study the history of two of them, belonging to Hulleras del Naredo and Antracitas de Carraluz. Several characteristics are common to both: their length, the use of steam traction, the facts that they were owned by independent companies and ran entirely within the limits of the concejo as well as their short periods of activity. Given the scarce written sources, part of this text is based upon interviews, which have proven crucial to rescue from oblivion such interesting railways.
