Resumen: 

La rampa ferroviaria de Pajares fue durante más de un siglo el trazado más duro de España y una de las obras de ingeniería más complejas del país. Discurre en su mayor parte por el concejo de Lena, donde permanecen, en algunos casos de forma inalterada, los inmuebles generados por su construcción en el siglo XIX y su temprana electrificación en el XX. En las páginas siguientes se analiza el conjunto de estaciones fundacionales de la línea, construidas desde 1872 hasta 1884. Se estudia y describe su historia, características, autoría y situación actual. Pese a su indudable valor patrimonial, estos inmuebles asisten en estos momentos a su decadencia, encarnada por la próxima apertura del trazado de Alta Velocidad entre La Pola (Lena) y La Seca (León) y probable desaparición en un horizonte cercano.

Abstract:

The Pajares railway ramp was the hardest route in Spain and one of the most complex engineering works in the country for over a century. It runs mostly through the council of Lena, where the buildings generated by its construction during the 19th century and its early electrification in the 20th century remain unchanged, in certain cases. The set of founding stations of the railway line, built from 1872 to 1884, are analysed on the following pages. Their history, features, authorship and current situation are also studied and described. Leaving aside its undeniable heritage value, these properties are currently witnessing their decline, embodied by the forthcoming opening of the High Speed line between La Pola (Lena) and La Seca (León) and their probable disappearance in the near future.
